Spot Shot's line of aerosol and trigger products has been integrated into several components of the film's promotion. The Sept. 12 Los Angeles premier of "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" featured a Spot Shot branded food-toss game, with proceeds benefiting Feeding America - the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, which provides food assistance to more than 25 million people facing hunger in the United States.
Spot Shot also partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment at "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" regional screenings in Charlotte, N.C., Paramus, N.J. and San Diego, Calif. Radio promotions on South Florida's WWRM-FM, Northern New Jersey's WHTZ-FM and Southwestern North Carolina's WLYT-FM offered consumers the opportunity to win passes to a private screening, and a grand prize $1,500 American Express gift card to be used for grocery shopping as well as a year's supply of Spot Shot products to clean up any food-related messes.
