PowerFile SA2000 and SA1000 Network Attached Storage (NAS) Servers Deliver Enterprise-class Performance, Scalability, Reliability and Availability to DVD Archive Appliances

These new archive appliances are ideal for long-term storage and regulatory compliance in medium-to-large organizations.
The PowerFile SA2000 is a 2U, rack-mountable server appliance featuring scalability and high-availability features, and the PowerFile SA1000 is a cost-effective 1U, rack-mountable server appliance. Both servers are powered by the Microsoft(R) Windows Storage Server 2003 and offer seamless integration within a users' existing infrastructure.

The PowerFile DVD Archive Appliances come pre-configured with powerful storage management software that allows multiple DVD libraries to be combined into a single, large volume. Policy-based management controls the migration of data from the SA2000 and SA1000 server appliances to the R200 series DVD libraries, and advanced features such as Write Once Read Many (WORM) caching and DVD/library replication ensure data integrity and availability.
